At the center of the card is a woman interacting gently and fearlessly with a lion. In my depiction, she isn’t holding open its mouth as is usually the case, but rather cuddling with a lioness. For me, gentleness is an important aspect of personal strength. The lioness herself is a symbol of courage, passion, and desire — emotions that are inextricably linked to human existence and essential for survival. However, if these emotions are not kept in check, they can ultimately lead to our downfall.
The Strength card represents inner strength and resilience in challenging times. You remain calm and in control, even when things get stressful.
If the card is reversed, however, it means you lack the necessary calm and inner strength to properly handle stressful situations. It can even be an indicator of depression and anxiety. Overall, it’s a sign that you need to work on your self-esteem to gain inner strength.
